This debut album from Shut Up and Dance on their own record label of the same name, cemented their place as a 'One to Watch' in UK dance music. After the rapid success of their debut single “5,6,7,8” which charted just outside of the UK top 40, and then successful follow up’s "£10 to Get In", and "£20 to Get In", it was time for an album and an opportunity to truly express themselves. This album showed the early signs of musical experimentation, and the willingness to push boundaries. Something which the label and PJ & Smiley became known for.
